News and Announcements - 01 September 2013

Rev. Robert Chew is our Lord’s Messenger today. Grace & Praise (Filipino) Fellowship’s monthly worship service will be held today from 11.30am to 12.30pm in the Choir Room. You are warmly invited to join us.

Mr Jeffrey Toh and family would like to thank all members and friends for their prayers, care and concern at the home-going of his brother, the late Mr. Michael Toh on 23 Aug.

Baptism. Pastor would like to invite those who would like to be baptized in December at Christmas time to register for a baptism course he will be starting soon. The church encourages all those who have not been baptized before to register for this. Please indicate your interest to Pastor or to any Elder or Deacon.

Families with Filipino domestic helpers who are currently not participating in the Filipino Bible Study and Fellowship are encouraged to encourage them to do so. We would welcome them and help them assimilate.

For you and others who may be interested, our Camp Speaker, Dr. John A. Beck has recently established an author page on at John A Beck Author Page for the growing collection of his published works, offering brief reviews of individual publications on Amazon. He is also using this portal to keep his former students and readers aware of his teaching and public speaking schedule appearing at the bottom of the author page. His latest publication, The Baker Illustrated Guide to Everyday Life in Bible Times will be released on 15 September.

Reminder: We would like to seek your cooperation in refraining from consuming tidbits or snacks during the worship service. As a norm, it is not proper to consume food or drinks in the Main Sanctuary. Please assist us in keeping our Church Sanctuary, premises and toilets clean and litter free. Thank you.

Worship Bulletins: If you do not wish to keep your worship bulletins, please leave them at the welcome table at the foyer on your way out instead of leaving them at the pews in the Main Sanctuary.

Today’s floral arrangement is lovingly contributed by Mrs. Carol Teo and family.
