News and Announcements - 22 September 2013

Rev. Robert Chew is our Lord’s Messenger today. Flower Ministry: We thank all of you who contributed to beautifying our pulpit in 2013. Please note that there will be a meeting on 29 Sept at 12.30PM, Church Library, for 2013 contributors to discuss the plans for 2014. Those who are interested to be involved in this ministry in 2014 are gladly welcome to attend the meeting.

Baptism. Pastor would like to invite those who would like to be baptized in December at Christmas time to register for the baptism course. The church encourages all those who have not been baptized before to register for this. Please indicate your interest to Pastor or to any Elder or Deacon.

Families with Filipino domestic helpers. Please encourage your helpers to participate in the Filipino Bible Study and Fellowship; this will help them be good tent-makers.

Grace & Praise (Filipino) Fellowship will celebrate their First Anniversary on 6 October 2013 from 11.30am to 12.30pm in the Choir Room. We invite all to attend. Lunch will be served after the service.

Do you have any thanksgiving item or personal needs that you would like us to pray for? Do let us know by filling in the thanksgiving/prayer request card and dropping it into the box available at the lobby table.

Reminder: We would like to seek your cooperation in refraining from consuming tidbits or snacks during the worship service. As a norm, it is not proper to consume food or drinks in the Main Sanctuary. Please assist us in keeping our Church Sanctuary, premises and toilets clean and litter free. Thank you.

Worship Bulletins: If you do not wish to keep your worship bulletins, please leave them at the welcome table at the foyer on your way out instead of leaving them at the pews in the Main Sanctuary.

Q4 Worship Rosters are available at the lobby table. All involved, please take a copy for your own reference, and note your allotted slots. If these dates are not convenient for you, kindly rearrange among your team members and inform the church office accordingly.

Today’s floral arrangement is lovingly contributed by Mrs. Christine Lim and family.
