News and Announcements - 7 April 2013

Pastor Robert Chew is our Lord’s Messenger today. Grace & Praise (Filipino) Fellowship’s monthly worship service will be held today from 11.30am to 12.30pm in the Choir Room. You are warmly invited to join us.

BAPTISM is ordained by Jesus Christ to be a sign and seal of the covenant of grace. To obey Christ, we submit ourselves to His command to be baptized. For those who would like to be baptized, or reaffirm their faith, or transfer their church membership, the church will be starting a membership course soon. Please contact Pastor or any of the Elders and Deacons to register your interest.

Calling All Members: The Church’s Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, 21 April 2013 in the main sanctuary, starting at 12.30pm. The ACM booklet including the Notice of Meeting and the Annual Report, etc. will be distributed to members (by families or households) today, 7 April. Members attending this ACM may wish to pre-book their lunch. Please fill in the order form at the lobby table.

There are 2 serving Elders and 8 Deacons whose terms expire at this ACM. They have offered themselves for re-election except for Elder Gilbert Leow, and Dn. William Fu who has consented to be nominated to serve as Elder. A short write-up on Dn. Fu has been posted in the church lobby for members’ prayerful consideration in the coming Election.
