Reflection on Isaiah 55:1 (NIV)

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters:
And you who have no money come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.”

The invitation is to all who are spiritually thirsty, hungry and poor. Come and be quenched, fed and filled.

Come to accept freely all the good gifts that God has now in readiness for His very own.

Come to Jesus who is the “Fountain of living water” and the “Bread of life.” Jesus said “….. him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”

The outstretched arms of Jesus our Lord is open wide for all to come to Him and find rest and refuge from the cares of this world.
