Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Ps 29:2)

Sunday Worship Service (English)
Time: 9:15 am (Pre-worship singing), 9:30 am -11:00 am (Worship Service)
Holy Communion: Served every 1st Sunday of the month

The whole of Scripture indicates the importance of worship. And corporate worship must always be directed to our Almighty God, the one true and living God. At Moriah, we congregate each Sunday to do this in a manner worthy of our Holy God.

Our order of worship may be described as traditional with emphasis on the preaching and teaching of the Word on a wide range of topics from the pulpit. Topics, in turn, are derived in relation to the ‘pulpit theme’ for the year.

Singing and making music to the Lord is also an important part throughout the order of worship. The Moriah Choir presents special music each month to further enhance the beauty of worship.

We warmly invite you to join us each Sunday at Moriah’s worship service.

Audio/Video and Multimedia

The Audio/Video (AV) Group supports all audio and video requirements for Sunday’s worship, and this includes the recording of sermons for online download. The AV Group also provides audio/video support for special events such as church anniversaries, seminars, video screenings, plays and musicals.

The Multimedia Group, being an integral part of the worship ministry, was formed about 5 years ago to support the use of slide projection during our corporate worship service.

Greeters and Ushers

Every Sunday morning, the members of the welcome team faithfully position themselves at the entrance of the church to warmly welcome worshippers into this big family of God. Be it giving out the bulletin, giving directions for available car parks lots, sheltering worshippers from the rain and helping to carry heavy things, the welcome team strives to minister each one through every small but heart-warming way.

This ministry consists of a group of brothers and sisters in Christ who are joyous and unwavering in their service for God. It is indeed such a great privilege to be in this ministry! We who are most indebted to our awesome God for saving us ought to give our all to our Saviour by serving Him humbly.

We thank God for sustaining this ministry; enabling the team to remain faithful in our service to Him and blessing us with more who have stepped forward to join us. We are also encouraged by fellow church members who have shown their appreciation to us by their words of thanks.

We ask that you keep this ministry in your prayers as we press on serving Him wholeheartedly. May we always be reminded of His grace, as without His grace we are unable to serve at all. Let us make full use of our talents for the edification of the body of Christ and serve Him with clean hands and a pure heart.

Tea and Refreshments

In order to warmly welcome newcomers and encourage more fellowship among the brethren, a group of church members contribute finger food on a rotational basis for fellowship tea. This is held immediately after the worship service.

We thank the Lord for their unwavering service and contribution towards this ministry. Through such gatherings, we are able to encourage more worshippers to stay back for fellowship to encourage one another in the Lord.
