The LORD is my Shepherd (Part 1)

The idea of “shepherd and sheep” is mentioned frequently in
the Bible. What does this phrase conjure up in your mind?



2. Christ called Himself our “Good Shepherd”. With references to
John 10:1-18, examine carefully the credentials/qualifications
of this Good Shepherd. What could be in Jesus’ mind
when He declared, “I am the Good Shepherd”?



3. The idea of a shepherd comes along with the idea of
“ownership”. Christ is the legitimate owner of His sheep. We
are rightfully Christ’s sheep! Try to describe what it means to
you, to belong to the flock of Jesus Christ.
