“Happy are those who constantly weep over their
own waywardness, for they shall be comforted!”
1. Who are the mourners or weepers that Jesus has in mind?
2. Why do kingdom people have to weep & mourn?
What is the nature & source of our griefs?
Heartrending is divinely worked and seriously felt. It is a secret grief that is personally experienced as a result of a deep work of the Holy Spirit moving upon the human heart. It is not a trivial thing, but is constantly felt in every child of God. Heartrending is powerfully humiliating and completely sin-purging!
